Regency Healthcare Restorative Aide in Corpus Christi, Texas
The Restorative Aide will be responsible for assisting residents to achieve and maintain
an optimal level of self care and independence.
The Restorative Aide should be familiar with office practices and procedures, accepts
accountability for responsibilities under direct control, plans and organizes work, exercises sound judgment and decision-making; promotes cooperative working relationships within and between departments and can prioritize and complete work assignments within agreed timeframes.
Perform restorative services according to therapy/nursing grid plan of care and
therapy/nursing assessments as reflected in the care plan.
Observe and report for signs and symptoms of change in condition and patient response to treatment.
Attend appropriate QA meetings.
Maintain a consolidated list of residents receiving restorative care. This list is to be kept in a binder along with restorative grids and brought to restorative meetings.
File grids in designated section under therapy tab in clinical record no later than the 5th of each month.
Complete admission heights and weights.
Complete daily, weekly or monthly routine weights.
Complete monthly vital signs flowsheets and places in chart by the 5th of the month.
Maintain all documentation as required by Federal, State and Company regulations.
Exchange all information necessary for quality patient care.
Organize patient care activities to complete patient care based on priority of patient needs.
Coordinate with Central Supply Clerk to make sure restorative supplies are sufficient to meet restorative patient needs.
Must be a Certified Nurse Aide
Must complete facility’s Restorative Training Program
Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
