Phlebotomy Healthcare Team Lead -- Corpus Christi, TX
LabCorp is seeking a Team Lead to oversee the Phlebotomy department in Corpus Christi, TX! The employees consist of phlebotomists or patient service technicians. This first shift position will have the hours of 6:00am -- 6:00pm, Monday - Friday. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills in the areas of developing, training, and motivating staff, as well as driving compliance with standard operating procedures and quality control measures.
The functions of the Team Lead position will include, but will not be limited to the following:
Phlebotomist with 3-5 years' experience and able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
Assis the Supervisor with important day to day tasks.
Assist with Inspection of PSCs, ordering supplies, and looking over PROC Error Reports.
Used for Phlebotomy Coverage as needed.
Able to pass a standardize color blind test.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and meet all state and local requirements where the laboratory is located with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
Healthcare Experience Preferred
Responsible for training new hires.

License/Certification/Education: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and meet all state and local requirements for phlebotomy where the laboratory is located with minimum of 3 years experience. Normally requires a Valid Driver's License along with a clean driving record.
