Job Description

Responsibilities will include:

*Preparing and serving petitions, answers, motions and reports

*Following up for discovery and investigation from claims

*E-Filing court documents and monitoring case dockets

*Office administration duties including, but not limited to, scheduling, billing, calendar, departmental reports, file organization, and setting and responding to diary entries

*Communicating with GEICO clients, court personnel, adversaries and claims

Candidate Qualifications:

*Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a grade 60 legal secretary or 4 years personal injury litigation experience.

*Ability to manage and prioritize caseload under direction of assigned attorneys;

*Exceptional computer skills and proficiency using MS Word

*Exceptional communication, organizational and time management skills

*Must type 50+ WPM.

*Notary license a plus
