Primary Responsibilities: The Home Health Scheduler is responsible for staffing patient cases for a clinical team Staffs all new referrals, ongoing visits over the certification period and weekend staffing Assists Clinical Team Manager in maintaining daily contact with field staff, distributing memos to staff, and receiving daily visit notes from field staff Tracks status of signed physician orders Responsible for data entry of home care clinical information and patient information on agency database Verification of insurance, re-authorization, authorization, intake referrals Calculates payroll for nurses Ensures wage transfer between nursing and other departments Required Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent Excellent telephone and customer service skills Computer skills including Excel, Word 1+ years in an office setting Preferred Qualifications: Medical terminology experience Home health experience Bilingual (Spanish) Careers with WellMed.
